What to prepare for dinner this weekend to break these winter blues?
I decided on my version of tapas – some seasoned beef grilled with green onion, hot peppers and mushrooms all stuffed into warmed small pita pockets along with shredded lettuce, diced ripe tomato and some salsa. I served these with the Spanish wine Glorioso Crianza. This wine is 100% tempranillo with flavours of dark fruits and hints of vanilla. Guess what? Some comfort food, a tasty wine and an evening with close friends can chase those winter blues away.
