Albert Ponnelle Réserve de la Chèvre Noire 2009

On a frosty winter evening, what could be better than a hearty bowl of boeuf bourguignon accompanied by good company and a bottle of the Albert Ponnelle Réserve de la Chèvre Noire 2009 wine from the Burgundy region of France. I enjoyed that experience several weeks ago. This wine made from 100% Pinot Noir and has a rich earthy component reminiscent of mushrooms and ripe dark fruit. Check it out on our Staff Picks wall.
